GUM DAMAR

Gum Damar, a natural crystalline resin, is obtained from Dipterocarpaceae family of trees.

Gum Damar is produced by tapping trees and also collected in fossilized form lying on the ground. It comes in white, light yellow and grey-brown colours. The best quality available is in Indonesia’s Sumatera Province and we supply this quality.

Its applications are in Lacquers to give gloss and provide adhesive properties and also in Foods, as a clouding or glazing agent, in Incense, Varnish, Paint, Water Resistant Coatings and Injection Moulding Materials.

Product Varients

We can supply various grades of Gum Damar as follows. Packing in Carton or double PP Bag with net weight of 20 to 25 kgs. per carton/PP Bag. Approx 15 MT in a 20’ FCL.
